Dongar Tech Dash Cam Adapter 2022 Toyota Tundra

I haven't seen a video on this for the 2022 Tundra so I made one. Hope it helps someone out there. Good luck!

I don't think you need dismantle the upper tray , simply disconnect the 10/12 pin connector from the back of the mirror, use the Dongar adaptor as a bridge between the mirror and truck harness and connect your camera to the Dongar USB. You can hide all the cables behind the mirror and Voila !

Yes he could have done this, however for those who don't have the auto dimming mirror can do it this way also.

Does it drain the battery? Or once you turn off the vehicle it shits off the camera

Does the camera always have power? So when the truck is off does the camera still receive power?

My version powers off. There are versions out there that will stay on and drain the battery.

Hey. I actually had to upgrade to a 2500 for towing purposes. But if I go Back to Tundra I would do the adapter again.
