At 50:12 you can see Kadex's manipulations. He see's Ectar about to kill Vakir and inmediatelly intervenes, mentioning Draigo and, so, saving her so she can set the trap. I love that kind of details you only notice in a second playthrough.

The Daemon Prince swearing "Ah Throne!" when it fucks up and mentions Draigo. Wasn't expecting that, but I found it very funny. 10/10 Kadex best villain. I'd also add, this seems to add a teensy bit of creditibility to the Matt Ward lore of Draigo being able to carve a name in Mortarions' heart. The idea that it was only possible due to the incompetence of Mortarion's minions.

In the beginning, Agravain died almost exactly in the same way that Kaldor Draigo was cursed to be trapped in the warp; Both were fighting a greater a demon, driven to their knees, struck by the demon's weapon with a blow that should have killed them outright, and then delivered their own killing blow to the demon before they passed on in their respective ways. Agravain got the better deal though; death is a lot better than being trapped in the warp for (probably) eternity.

on one hand, your right on the other just because he gets sent back into the warp doesn't mean he can't leave and fuck up whatever plan of chaos he can find to put his halberd through and it's not like he dislikes the situation that badly I think he only hates the fact he spends so much time away from his brothers.

If you compared Agravain's fate to any other Grey Knight I would whole heartedly agree! But since we are talking about Lord Kaldo Draigo, I think it's worked out as a definite net positive for Draigo, the Grey Knighs and the rest of the Imperium! Draigo is still capable of appearing in the midst of the Grey Knights most grave battles - and turn the tide. So much so, that he has appeared on mutliple battle fronts at once (because of warp shenanigans)! And he's not actually being tortured in the Warp - but kicking arse! He was beating so much Daemon champions in the beginning, they realised they can't defeat/corrup him...and let him for the most part, roam on his own. Draigo is such a legend!

I have to admit, when I played this game, I became emotionally invested in the story. I didn't like the female from the Inquisition at first, but before the end I really started to like her (which was probably the intention.)

While commanding Grey knights the way she does, there is an exactly one hundred percent chance that Vakir would get terribly depressed and commit suicide by hanging herself, putting multiple bolter rounds through herself, then slicing "heretic" across her own body in any remaining part still attached. It would no doubt be an unfortunate incident that the Grey Knights would have to report back to Terra in the timely manner of a millennia or so.

I sometimes wish that the Grey Knights were not obligated to listen to Inquisitors. Like the Adeptus Custodes. The Custodes are under no obligation to listen to anyone - including the High Council. As for Guilliman ... the Custodes are watching him, very closely.

@@Supreme-Emperor-Mittens While Space Marines are obligated to listen to Inquisitors, smart Inquisitors would never behave that way to even a singular standard Space Marine. All the ones dumb enough to act like that are probably dead and long gone. An Inquisitor ordering Space Marines around is typically more like politely beseeching help for a shared cause with undertones of the expectation for compliance because not complying basically invites calamity that the Space Marines would have to clean up later in a much harder and messier fashion than doing so now.

The game ends with a cliffhanger. I'm not sure if saving her will be possible, but she is deffinitely set up for a major role in a sequel. EDIT: The video is missing a post credit scene.

My man, this game was soo good in its story development (It was nor perfect BUT) its was sooooooo good :,) Absolute RATIONAL "thinking", LUNETE. Total compromise with "DUTY", ECTAR. And "RELGIOUS" HOPE for humanity, with no limits, VICKAR... Good guy. He was possibly the strongest Grey Knight to ever live, but he was cursed by a demon before he could kill it. Now he can only exist in realms of the warp, but when his chapter needs him, or there are really messed up Warp storms in an area, he can pull himself out and help for short periods of time.

Enjoyed Inquisitor Vakir's slow slip, you could see her visibly become more worn-out and less vigorous in her speech and movement. The simping of the GK afterwards was excessive though, considering they're hardline puritans. Okayish story overall, but could have been much improved if they kept working on it for a bit so the GK were more true to their background material IMO. It's like Simptar has never seen someone make a sacrifice for the sake of the team, and becomes especially laughable in perspective of the early cutscenes where billions and trillions of people are dying. Which is a shame, because otherwise it's a good way to show the split between Radicals who use the means of the enemy to strike back, and Puritans who refuse flat-out. You could have had Vakir bail on the GK after pilfering the library, and have the GK track her down - possibly with her leaving a deliberate trail for them to follow, depending on your angle.
