Love this one Katie! I also have a video request if you’re interested, I think it’d be really cool to see you compose your own song or etude and then perform it for us! Also, would you be interested in playing Mozart’s Concerto in D major K.314?

Would love to know what brand flute you recommend for serious junior high going into high school flute player. Done renting, ready to buy, no particular budget, want to get something that may last into college. We love your videos :) thanks!!

You could try the Azumi S3/Z3RBI, Sankyo CF-201 RBI, Altus 807/907 RBI, Yamaha 587-B orbthe Trevor James Virtuoso. If you have a bigger Budget than that, try the Muramatsu EX-RBI☝🏻

I really want to learn the basics of the flute during quarantine, any advice? I know I won’t become great at playing the flute, but I just want to start to get familiar with the instrument. Is it possible to self teach the absolute basics?
@rubygray77494 жыл бұрын
If you check Katie's video list, she has some where she helps absolute beginners learn the flute! So do several other YT flutists. Have fun!

Hello I have a question :( Why my ears are buzzing when I play high notes on the flute? and this is annoying Did you know pls? :((
@katieflute4 жыл бұрын
you might want to get a good pair of ear plugs! (the kind made for music/musicians, not the foam ones they give you on a plane lol) I wear ear plugs when practicing in the high register most of the time :)

@@katieflute Sorry for the late reply, I would like to ask you, please, which brand do you recommend and where could I buy them? Thank you very much

I could probably play this on the clarinet (with a lot of practice) if it would be 3 tones lower on the score (so 4 tones). I can't reach altissimo F cleanly and constantly. She goes up to G. The jumps are quite enormous too... that would be a great practice! 🙂
