Hey Connor so far I've only gotten into watching some of this run, but I've been thinking about running 101% glitchless actually. I'm currently just trying to beat the game 101% for the first time in a while, but once I do, I want to get to the point where I can remember everything. My end goal is to be able to get a run in a single sitting, hopefully less than 10 hours. Thanks for all you've done, you inspired me to give this a try!

You must be playing on the PAL version - the US and JP versions have 3 minutes per round.

When I was like 15, I was running up the stairs, but didnt lift my feet up high enough on one step and hit them into the stair so hard, I collapsed and couldn't move my feet at all for an hour. Ever since then I cant move my toes.

Well, I’d say a REAL GAMER SHOULDNT COMPLAIN ABOUT NOT be able to GLITCH! And the GAME SHOULD BE PLAYED THE WAY IT SHOULD BR PLAYED WITH NO FUNKY CRAZY UNREALISTIC GLITCHES(even though damaging yourself to get bananas is OK, coz the game doesn’t make that much sense). So great job to do a ran with NO GLITCH! And damaging yourself to get the invincibility frame is NOT considered a glitch! I really wanna see someone do a 100% run by collecting ALL CHARACTER BANANAS(100 each level, 500 per level, 3500 all 7 main levels) instead...don’t know who’s doing that, I think you might be too lazy or tired to do that so I’m not gonna count on you doing a PREFECT COLLECT ALL RUN...and I don’t really care about SPEEDRUN(speeding thru each level), I’d watch a run that collects ALL THINGS instead than an any % speedrun.

Hello, I'm Aden Singh. Connor, Mate, in future, I would advise against commentated speedruns if you want them to count towards records. You see, we have to be able to verify them, and by adding spoken commentary, it messes with the software we use to verify that there are no edits. So if you are serious about maybe having a glitchless speedrun record, then make publically available a glitchless speedrun with good video and audio quality with 0 commentary. Your audio track that you add contains a background hiss that the software picks up, and it may cause false positives if your audio cuts in and out for even the hair of the fraction of a second. So yeah, I just wanted to make sure you knew this in future should you wish to submit your speedrun as a record. I couldn't verify this one, sorry, mate.

@@awhitmore7317 I joined them in July of last year. One of our verification methods is to analyze a video's analog hum. We have to download the video, run it through the software and if it detects a break in the hum, that is often times an indication of an edit. It is the method that was used to go after some people that claimed speedrun records on SM64 and a couple other games. With Connor's video, we can't do a fair check of it with the analog hum, because Conor's commentary audio has its own analog hum, and if it breaks because of his mic's driver, it can create a false positive. What are your methods of analyzing a person's run, or does your DK64 United States board just take Connor's good word on it?
