K. Lumsy is truly the most powerful being in the game. He manipulates his earthquakes to affect specific areas as needed.

What's really cool of this stage besides the unique Day/Night gimmick of it is that this was originally going to be a Banjo/Kazooie level

how does K Rool's barrel TV work? the entities contained within interact with it like it's actually a barrel, but given that you *could* enter Fungi Forest with Lanky, there's no way he could actually get Kongs in there

When taking pictures of the banana fairies you can alway tell if you got them because they’ll disappear right before the film pops up to show the shot taken! Hope this helps!

I think they had a hard time coming up with original concepts for bosses cause they used armydillo for Crystal caves and fungi forest was such a cool level too and the boss fight was dissapointing, would’ve been cool to fight like a giant poison mushroom or something with spores idk

I always loved how they gave an entirely new animation to each Kong for each successive tier of Simian Slam.

Unfortunately, it can actually be detrimental to a couple of challenges where you need to use the Simian Slam on a timed basis, because the animation for the higher tiers takes longer.

From what I remember, Banana Fairies follow a set path. For a specially fast fairy you can just sit and wait pointing at a spot where the fairy travels by. Just look for where the fairy pauses for a bit and aim the camera there.

I never noticed that the Simian Slam changes animation (in addition to the ring colour change as Scykoh pointed out). That's super cool! Can't wait to see the series progress

Fungi forest is by far my favourite world. The music for day and night are some of the best pieces of music in the game IMO. I can’t wait for the next few episodes.

This is easily one of my favorite stages too. But I think the next level after this one is my absolute favorite due to the music. Also, regarding taking pictures of the Banana faeries: *Professor Oak voice* "You were close"

I never got to this stage in my childhood, and this is my first time seeing it as I've never really watched play throughs of this game until I began watching this slowly throughout this year (mostly at work I'd listen to it passively) and it's so magical for me to see this level, I *have* to play through the game now (especially knowing it was a scrapped banjo kazooie level) I remember always wondering what was in the entrance for the level. This series makes me feel so inspired to finish more games I never wanted to finish as a child. I wish that they'll add dk64 to the N64 online so I can play it freely

Fungi Forrest is my favorite stage as well,.... Except for the race against the rabbit, Lanky's bonus mini game, as I mentioned before, and the spider. Not a fan of spiders. Anyhow, other than that; I love this stage. 😄

I still don't understand why Tiny's air twirl is called Ponytail Twirl when she has pigtails, but oh well. Also, I'm fairly certain the upgrade to the ground pound also changes everyone's ground pound animation

When getting the banana fairies, if you still see the sparkles moving around in the background after taking a picture, you didn't successfully get the fairy. Just wondered if you knew that or if the background wasn't in focus when staring at the picture to see whether a checkmark or X would show up. lol

Ok this is the level I could never complete I got my brother to beat the world 3 boss, I beat world 4’s boss after many many tries but this boss I could never figure out and I always ended dying before I could finish it off
