God this is a blast from the past! This was one of the first games I ever owned. Made it rather far, but I can't remember ever actually beating it

At 17:00 Stage 3-1, when I was a kid I thought that was the legit strategy to beat this level, and I thought what is this game asking of me!? I tried it soooo many times and kept dying and failing, only to realize that the platform at the bottom for the stump at the bottom to cross was the actual solution. I felt stupid after that. Only to learn years later that this was a speed running tactic. XDDDDD
