Dkc tropical freeze is an amazing game and difficult as hell. Played it when I had a Wii U. I would get it for the Switch but I'll wait for it to go on sale.

Ash Tookem Productions so I never had a Wii U and I remember hearing all the good reviews. DKC was my favorite game back on the SNES so I was hoping it would be ported to the Switch.

@@Sky1Eagle1 hey i ended up beating it twice, once with dk and basically dixie and once with funky trying to get everything. its hard to rank it with dkc and dkc2 because my nostaglia for those games are so strong, however its up there with top 3 donkey kong games. it really also made me wish dkc3 was dk and dixie, and its a shame we never got that pair together. i think there was some missed opportunities with the animal buddies, and im not a huge fan of the rocket levels compared to older mine carts. however the windmill, african and snow zones were really amazing and i loved the sound remixes.

I believe David wise was really inspired by him I think he said it in a few interviews he did one with gamexplain for dkc 25th anniversary where he mentions it Phil Collins was before my time really but my parents both love him and play his and Genesis’s music all the time and they said some of the songs sound like him
