If there was a How to beat Home Video Games Volume 4 released in 1983 by Vestron, then it would include the Atari 800 version of Donkey Kong where the announcer would say that "Atari's computer version of Donkey Kong unlike the VCS version features all four of the arcade versions levels."

This was the game that I saved for..and the guy at the store said "it looks JUST like the real thing my man". So I took it home and...it was horrible. Colecovision restored my faith in porting of Arcade games to home consoles.

@briguydj32 Wow. I actually noticed it in Penguins from Madagaskar show in Nickelodeon and just to get facts stright I checked this video, because I knew some sounds are from this game and look - I found my answer just from your comment. Wow.

So like, I tried thousands of times to pass level 2 and couldn't ever. How was I supposed to know that I was supposed to pass all of those rivet things and not get to the top like level 1. I thought the goal was to get to the top! What the heck? All those years.... And just FYI, it was a hand me down game and system. I was born in 1990.
