Collaborative annotations usually turn into a cluster-eff if many people you don't know do it. I find it funny how people are more willing to place an annotation than a comment. Meh, I was controlling the collaboration at one point, but I just decided to leave it because I'd have to check back on it so many times that it was annoying.

I don't know about trying too hard on something created over a year ago, but I don't think a "Perfect Playthrough" exists. People who watch gaming videos either like it with audio commentary, subtitles, annotations or nothing at all. The third seems effective when used correctly, though this video is an example of where annotations can go out of control.

They used to be. Now annotations are completely gone, save for any older videos that had them.

Oh, that's bull! What were they smoking when they decided to remove annotations!? Now I can't throw my two cents about how great your DKC 2 playthrough is in the video.

This is what happened. Annotations didn't work on mobile devices, but end cards did. So what did they decide? "Let's kill annotations. Nobody uses them anyway!" So instead of fixing them, they shut down the ability to use them. And just like that, a feature that has been on KZbin for years is now gone. But glad to see people still enjoy this play through even now.

You're good, but you try too hard. These annotations add nothing at all and at this case it fuc...ed up the video(of course, I always turn them off). Also, in my opinion, this hard mode = easy mode since even when you have only one kong, when get out of a bonus room you already got both back. Also there were a lot of unnecessary editings in this playthrough, why not just let the game roll, show the map, etc? Why try so many stunts, everybody already knows you're a god at this.
