You can actually go very far down under, but the moment that counter expires, you'll fire to your death. You can bet THAT happened a few times with the "lava shot'

Yes. You will also jump out of the Kannon during the shock without firing. You will want to get back in, however. There is a minor glitch with this where you leave one, enter a different one, then move back to the first.causing you to control two at once and at double speed. But it's fairly useless...

Hey Saestrol, if you hit a Zinger (Or some other enemy) while in that Movable Barrel Kannon, will you get hurt just as you usually would?
