This is easily my favorite DKC2 track. Just listening to it takes me back to my early childhood when I watched my older brother and his best friend at the time play this game.

I don't know how you got it this close to the original, but you really nailed it. Well done :)

Man, I don't know what it is about your midis, but they're so full and detailed. You really flesh them out. I used to sequence some stuff for fun a few years ago, but nothing I've ever done has been amazing like your stuff. You know what you're doing when it comes to music.

I has the same sensation about this theme, the King Zing Sting is a bullshit, and this theme is like a releasing of that punishment. At the moment, my favorite David Wise's track.

A few of the high pitched chimes and the 303 arpeggios were incomplete or incorrect, but definitely a nice try. Good work!

There is something that I always wondered from these sequences. How do you make the envelopes? The closest I had from doing something like that was changing the velocity, but that also meant lowering the note's volume... is there a controller that doesn't affect volume that I'm not aware of?

Personally, I never grew up on the Donkey Kong Country games for the SNES. I grew up with the GBA games instead. Hey! I'm only 25 years old, so I'm probably a generation or 2 younger than many of you guys. Still, this was a nice and faithful remix of the SNES version of Forest Interlude. I'm looking forward to hearing what you'll come up with next for any of the other Donkey Kong Country tracks out there (regardless of whether they're based off of the SNES or GBA versions of the tracks).

I'm 21, and I played the hell out of DKC as a kid. I had the SNES and all the classics for a long time actually.

ShadowWolfTJC Dude, come on, we're not that old. This is from DKC2, not Pong. I'm only four years older than you are.
