That updated slow falling honey effect is beautiful in this stage. One of the reasons I loved GBA's updated graphics.

The only thing i can´t stand to be honest... is the fact that the klampons don´t scream their "OOOORGHHH!" when they die lol

This is the first level that introduces Capters and Moon Bars. Both are invincible. Although, Moon Bars are impossible to dodge, outrun, and destroy. Capters, however, are possible to outrun and dodge. Eggman placed one at the beginning and one at the end, so I had to go through the bonus level in order to win this level.

This level is pretty much the same in the GBA version. However, King Zing's chase music(Run, Rambi, Run!) is replaced by Screech's race theme, and the last bonus is squashed.
@victobob16 жыл бұрын
It's not the first stage that introduces Capters, anymore because now, that is Mudhole Marsh. This is the first stage that introduces Moon Bars.

Actually, hackensac, the "Run, Rambi, Run!" track is still in the game, strangely enough. That song could be selected in the hidden sound test menu. As for an explanation as to why it was replaced by Screech's theme song, my guess is that it was a mistake.
@MegaMan5216 жыл бұрын
Uh, this IS Rambi Rumble. I think what you're thinking of is "Run Rambi, run!", the music which originally played in this level when King Zing Sting chased you in the SNES version.

Bad Bird Rag is so unfitting here. This is why I like the SNES version.

in the snes version the part where King Zing appears always scares the crap out of me.

im kinda dissapointed they didn't have run rambi run theme! HOWEVER im glad they still had some kind of music that gives you adrenaline and gets ya tensed up/ better than that then just the original hornet bg music.

I agree with you...moreover, i think this game should be ported to the Nintendo DS, it will overcome the graphics and sound limitations seen in the GBA version, and have room for bonus content :)

Dude, all the 90's kids (well, I'm an 80's child but I grew up in the 90's) agree that the SNES version is better. If other people don't believe us, it's their loss, not ours.

I wish they didn't replace Rambi Rumble's theme with Screech's Sprint theme in this game.

Yeah, DKC 2 was the best. Um, bet you heard it before, but I think the snes verison was better. Even downloaded it on virtual console. Anyway, it`s a nice video. Cool to see how the GBA verison looks.

Its practically the same adventure with not so enhanced graphics (what do you expect on a gba) and added mini-games.

Because of the Capter at the end of this stage, I cannot clear this level with the barrel, so I have to go through the bonus level.

Well, I have been playing the Country series since they came out so I'd like to speak up. Of course there are many types of people out there, whites and blacks, gays and lesbians, people who recommend this and people who recommend that. Still, the majority of people really LOVE this game, and I'm one of them. Anyway, have a wonderful New Year and Happy Holidays.

I think the GBA version gets bashed just a little too much. It's seems with every video of the GBA version, I see always see someone criticising it whether it'd be in the description or in a comment. I'll agree that the SNES version is better, but I for one am going to say something good about the GBA version: there's nothing wrong with the graphics in this level. They're the same as the SNES version, just brighter. Nothing wrong with that. Anyway, this is a good video.

there's something you do not understand in 0:20 seconds, you can colgarte a hook that is hidden and continue to rise, but in the real version I've tried and can not be, which is the difference? it is the version that you are playing? or the original SNES can do the same?
@PgXcTrackRunner15 жыл бұрын
