This music is so well done... the wind, animals howling, the resonating instruments, the wooden xylophone, the flute, the drums, everything... The ambience is so damn natural and relaxing that it's addicting to listen to. :)

The dark tone of the original music track always made me feel a bit nervous the first time I tackled these levels. This remix somehow amplifies that strangely dark feeling and I love it. I love this game’s soundtrack and how dark it is. Eveline’s work is underrated. Donkey Kong Land 3’s version didn’t sound nearly as chilling due to being 8-bit.

There's just such a groove to these. I go back and forth between this and Water World (DKC3), both of which has that distinct tribal touch to the percussive instruments, I'm freakin' loving it and it fits the songs so much. Also the marimba panning between left and right was a neat touch as well. I appreciate all the work you put into these,- it's so goddamn worth it in the end!
