@@Tequila-only Yet when you check the cave underneath his house after you finish a game, you can find all those smaller bananas piled up where they're supposed to be.

Despite having the easy bosses of the snes trilogy, the boss theme is so intense for some reason that has become my favorite

You expected them to get harder after Queen B., but instead, you get a bunch of regular enemies for the next boss, and then Gnawty and Necky for a second time.

@@RokuroCarisuThe original DKC will always give me fond memories, but, yeah, the bosses outside of K. Rool were too easy and uninspired. The bosses in DKC 2 & 3 definitely made up for them.

I love how this one came out! You can really feel the heavy metal energy of the guitar synth combined with the powerful bass. It overall makes the track sound even more badass than ever!

A classic theme, I like how you can kind of tell the soundtrack was still figuring itself out here, since it feels a little generic yet intense with synth vs bass. Nice work

Bosses in general were still being figured out. They're all just bigger versions of normal enemies with no unique attacks. Two of them were just harder versions of previous bosses. King K Rool was the only boss with any effort

Sam, have you restored the "Beta" version of this song? It is tucked away in US 1.0 of the game's data per The Cutting Room Floor. "An early version of the boss music, found in US 1.0. It begins at a slower pace than the final boss music, but gradually increases in tempo until about halfway through the third loop, when it is close to the final version's pace. This song also has different instrument pointers, compared to any of the used songs, hence the sample pointers had to be changed in the SPC file for it to play correctly."
