I don't know if i buy the hard work beats talent argument. I’ve seen lots of photographers that posts tons of work but don’t get much traction. And their photos are usually kind of flat and snapshot’y. Compare that with your photos Roman, yours are much nicer. I think nice photos are a big part of success, not just hard work, and nice photos comes from talent. (Sorry if I misunderstood your point.) Completely agree with the walking and always having cameras with you though! I always have at least one camera with me (not phone), and I often bike around. And the times I walk instead of using my bicycle, I see much more potential photos. Also agree about taking the subjects feelings into account! I rarely shoot people, but when I do I try to either make sure they feel okay with it (as much as I can), or I try to take photos when they are unaware. (Additionally I try to keep the subject anonymous. I’ll blur their face if it’s visible in the photo.) About loving the process, good point! And I think one thing some people might not realize is that they need to enjoy the camera too. If the camera isn’t enjoyable to use, but you’re able to make good photos with it, then you might not be using the right camera for you. Right now I’m selling one of my cameras for this reason. My X-T5 is more fun to use so I won’t keep the other one. Great video and great photos!
