Honestly I appreciate how the puzzle pieces make you try every mechanic at every point where it could be used in case there's a puzzle piece. It feels like you're thoroughly exploring everything new before moving on.

If you never played Donkey Country 2 Diddy Kong Quest then I highly recommend that one. You would definitely need to look up where the DK coins and some letters are in that one though, but it's totally awesome and has the best soundtrack. 🐒🧢

As far as I know the music in the Golden Temple is partly a remix of an old game which is Donkey Kong 3, basically a math game where Donkey Kong Jr. plays a larger role. And apparently you even have 2 hearts instead of just 1 in Mirror Mode when you are playing the new easy mode...
