Yeah, judging by the footage I've seen online, this really does not look like an official port from Nintendo. A lot of the visuals, especially the HUD elements, look like a choppy fanmade texture pack

Yeah, If this were the 3ds version, then the options (continue, retry, & view replay) would appear on the bottom screen instead of the top & it would say to press “X” instead of Plus to “retry”. And if it were the original Wii version, then it would say to press Minus instead of “Y” to view replay.

How can you get to the time attack mode?

Play by yourself on levels you’ve completed and there should be an extra option like there is when you want to equip stuff for a level

You have to complete the level first, then you can Time Trial.
