I haven't played DKC3, but I definitely think that DKC2 is harder than the first DKC, even without worrying about collectibles. It requires a lot more precision in most of the levels.

Josh i feel like you have a personal bias for Dk64 just because its on the N64 and Rare made it. The amount of collectibles for every kong as well as how expansive the worlds are dont equal a good game automatically. Banjo Tooie was already starting to get a bit out of control but it at least was just Banjo doing most of the work with some Mumbo on the side.

My biggest issue with DK64 is that everything is color coordinated. I'm colorblind, so differentiating the yellow and green bananas has always been a bitch to me.
