The entire GB trilogy is finally here. While the first game was completely new and the second one was basically a port of the SNES version, the third one was half and half. It pretty much had the same levels as its SNES counterpart, but the world layout and story were completely different to where you could comfortably consider it as a new game.

Funny enough the emulation on the Wii U was fine. The issues were primarily caused by Rareware being ahead of their time. A lot of aspects in DK64 were designed with the console's bad habit of slowing down when things get too strenuous in mind. The Wii U does not have this issue however and so it ran those parts of the game perfectly, which led to issues that didn't exist in the original, most notably minigames later on being unbeatable without save states.
