This is the third time I've heard this song by Shaboozey and I'm at a conundrum. It's obviously been successful, the artist lauded, and reactors are generally positive, but I just don't get it. I don't hate it or have any inherent feelings one way or the other about country or country adjacent. There is obviously some subtle magic to this that I'm too stoopid (see I can't even spell) to comprehend. Maybe I just tend towards a certain sounds like metal and rock. Anyway, as always Kathy, Lulu & Donna rule and I'm going to assume Jeff is back in the kitchen. I'll miss his deep insight and ability to express what music means to him.

Why not? Please elaborate. For me it is. He's been grinding for years. It's all about the vibe for me. The everyday struggles. Letting off some steam. Raw lifestories. I must admit his collaboration with Beyoncé was horrible. But I believe he was fooled. Shaboozey does have this genuity. I'm glad he finally has his solo succes. I will let that one mistake slide 😏🤣
