Hi Donna! Thank you for sharing your talents so generously 😇 I absolutely love your Diamond Pops Quilt. 💖 I am so excited about making this quilt for my son, Joshua. His birthday is in three weeks. I know he will love it too, for all the same reasons I do. First, I was delighted by the intricacies involved in your design; such as, the tiny little triangles seeming to peek out from beneath the top colorful block. And, these little black or white triangles seem to magically come together as a miniature block in the center of the large colorful block. Second, my love for contrast, colour, balance, and logistics come alive in in your design! How genius it is to use the elegance of black and white squares underneath the colourful squares and then set these diamond squares at an 80 degree turn above this contrasting backdrop. Third, naming the quilt "Diamond Pops" is creatively accurate. Diamonds are admired for their many facets that reflect a rainbow of colour. And, to the degree the diamond's setting shows the jewel it holds to it's best advantage the diamond's facets with its rays of color create the drama we are attracted by. Fourth, every beautiful picture needs a beautiful frame. Your quilt's borders perfectly frame the beauty in your design and the fabrics chosen. This quilt's backing does not disappoint but, rather, matches perfectly in an understated appropriate way. Your longarm quilting finishes the entire work of art in excellence. I am so glad you devoted the necessary time to this tutorial. In following along, we all are now able to better appreciate this beautiful quilt as the fine work of art that it is. And, in the end, get excited about the idea of becoming a quilter for the fun had in the making of the quilt and the joy made possible in the giving of such a beautiful gift that is of our own making for someone we love.

OMG! As usual I love it. I can't wait till I can sew again. Eye stroke and cataracts aren't fun. I feel so lost without playing with my fabric. Thank God I can still watch these videos on my phone. I can't do it on the computer because the screen is too big and everything is blurred. Six months now without being able to do any sewing. I'm doing pretty good with the cutting though, so I'm going to have a lot of sewing by the time I'm ready to get back to it. Everyday I cut a new project. My husband darkened all the lines on my cutting mats and it's working great. I like this pattern so much that'll probably cut several. I have so much fabric from my shop. I really miss it. God bless you guys!

Thank you once again Donna. I am working on this quilt as we speak. It is a very fun quilt to do and very creative. The one thing I have found though is if you make two exact strips (black, white, black making two) and (white, black, white making two) and press one seam to the black and one to the white, then the seams will nest. When I pressed all of the seams to the black, it caused bulk and stretching when I sewed the seams together. I have the edged 1/4 seam foot on my machine, and this seems to work much better for me as they lay more flat. I can't wait to finish it. Thank you again for your beautiful and free quilt designs. You are a master at your teaching skills.

I love this Quilt. I don't know if other quilters do this but I need to make a quilt for someone and the pattern needs to match the person I'm making it for. This one matches my granddaughter in WV. I can't wait to start working on it. The other day I was working on a baby quilt, for a doll baby. And I wanted to do it the way I saw you do something. After I sewed all around it I realized I did it wrong and remembered how you did it. Thank you for everything you are teaching us.
