@@johnbuckland3838 The best guess I can enter is because her record company thought some of the others would be bigger hits. They were WRONG. Donna never got the accolades she deserved. I used to tell everyone that if there were angels, Donna would be their lead singer.

Once I bought the full album and heard the complete version - and sounding quite a lot better as well - I loved it after the first play and have since.

My dad just kicked me out for going to the clubs, but how it was worth it to hear Donna at the clubs! And that album stayed on the turntable a good long while there in my unexpectedly inherited first apartment. It may have been severely disrupted times for me, but her music brings back the joy along with cherished memories of friends, many-of-which of whom died due to the club scene. They were both carefree and careless days back then right before AIDS (GRID) came along.

And although the man has a bad rep regarding his temperament, Giorgio pumped out the finest synth-arrangement that anyone could hope for. Yes, we hear Donna's velveteen vocals, but that driving arrangement kicks butt, i have to say! Bob Esty launched her, did an outstanding job as well! And he was a sweet heart.
