No one will come even remotely close to Donna's talent! Unique luscious, sexy, hefty quality (too bad she never officially recorded musicals) was unique. The "Last dance" excerpt on Y.T. warms up the audience in an unprecedented way! Musicality, power, natural ease, humility and generosity will be missed. Here, she wasn't in top vocal form, yet, it's MESMERIZING. You've given us so much Love. Let's hope the Angels up there treat you well and the way you deserve. RIP.

its with absolute confidence i can say Donna Summer was the greatest female voice of the last 50 years and for many years to come. What a powerful performance!! If this was 2009 I think she was like 60yrs old here, and her voice still sounded amazing. Even though now that I am older (48) I love all the 70's disco, funk, soul type stuff, I never really went to any of these disco type shows. I mostly went to see blues and classic rock type shows all growing up. Man I wish I would have had a chance to see her, what a talent she was :(

Jens Wendelboe is the conductor here, he loved Donna, and loved working with her. Whenever she did shows that used a full orchestra he was her first choice to conduct them. Just look at the passion in his work, and the intensity on his face, he was not faking it.
