I don't get why people keep commenting to point out "no autotune". There is tons of modern music that's not done with autotune. Are all of you not able to find it or something?

Whats so strange abut it? May you stop believing old War propaganda of a racist german Culture. We had several black stars here in Germany. And it was absolute normal. I grew up with that.

I understand that there is a language and cultural barrier between most European and American cultures. If you'd use your eyes, you will see the awe. Perhaps if that was the case, European history may not have been so bloody.

Let me make this clear. Donna Summer eclipses them ALL. YES all of them. She is hands down in my humble opinion better than Aretha, Mariah, Celine,Whitney, Chaka khan, Patti, Tina Marie, you name it. Since her burst upon the music scene, Ms. Summer had such a unique, translucent, crystal clear, resounding voice with legendary range, and unlike those I mentioned and others I haven't, Ms. Summer didn't STRAIN or force her voice. It just flowed with such an other worldly projection and resonance that belied adequate description. She is the ONLY one whom I've heard who sounded 110 percent and more, PRECISELY as her studio recordings. The ONLY other female singer who accomplished that was none other than Barbara Streisand. Outside of that no one else belongs in the same zipcode mate, with Donna Summer. I will ALWAYS believe this.

This was what was supposed to happen. The Three Degrees traveled and entertained globally bringing their look, sound, persona and culture with them. In doing so, they subtly reminded the world how much we share in common despite clear differences. When a person becomes multi-lingual you will never see the world in the same light ever again as you gain insight to the inner-workings of a culture. From an early age, I love hearing someone sing in English when their birth language is German. The phrasing and tone is unique and distinctive.

She was my first crush. I was 7 when somebody in my family bought the On The Radio album. I still have it today. Man, that was music you could feeeel.

This was a track, but the voice is real! SO real and that is what is missing from the current mess we have thanks to the multinationals. Donna was in tune, pure and so talented. So real. No gimmicks. This track is also amazing, and the orchestration not found in today's cookie cutter I - V - vi - IV crap. She may be gone but her music lives forever. No one to this day can touch her vocally.
