I want to know who the pop singer is. This pop song is from the early 80s. It's a song in cassette tape. I remember the song title as "stuff". The first bar of the chorus is also stuff. Like Dona Summer's Hot Stuff, disco. It is. I'm a white female singer. Exciting dance music with fast tempo. I remember it as a pop song. Please tell me if you know. I beg you.

The prime Disco era was the 70s. Disco Demolition Night Was held in 1979, and that basically ended the Disco era in America. I preferred 70s rock myself. Then the 80s started the New Wave era, along with rock hair bands, rap friendly acts, and one hit wonders.

Donna Summer was not a wild gal in real life, but oftentimes she would play a libidinous vixen in her songs. In “Hot Stuff” (1979), she’s calling every guy she knows, looking for some action. How did she pull it off? “That was easy,” her husband replied. “She knew immediately what the character of the song was, because she was AN ACTRESS WHO SANG. She just jumped right on that and injected it with the rock and soul that that song required, quite naturally.” When the Best Female Rock Vocal Performance category was added at the Grammy Awards in 1980, Donna Summer won with “Hot Stuff.” Classifying the tune as rock was quite a stretch, but her vocals could hold up in any genre. That year, she outbested Rickie Lee Jones, Tanya Tucker, Carly Simon and Bonnie Raitt for the award❕ 💙🔥💚 Always loved, never forgotten, forever missed will you remain, LaDonna Adrian Gaines, a.k.a. Donna Summer (1948 - 2012)… 🌹
