This is disco as all the mixes are, it has some philly soul flavour with that funky twang and the vocals are warmer richer. Each mix has a different flavour that a DJ would use for different effect. ...I've held off commenting on this, because I was worried I would fly off the rails, but I can't WAIT anymore...this is absolutely MIND-BLOWING! ...I've been listening to the Original LITERALLY since 1975 / 1976, and I cannot get OVER how this MHP version captures a more raw, guttural feel of the track! (cont.) ...this version has more 'funk' overtones, and with a more 'dry' sound (the drums, Donna's moans, and bass feel more 'upfront'), and the soft 'cushion-y' overlay (on the original) seems to be removed, making this feel more 'raw'....Donna's moans, at 9:20- 10:40 are so UNBRIDLED, when brought out front in the mix, I'm FLABBERGASTED she did that in 1975!! ...The newer instrumental breaks are re-arranged, giving the track a more 'alternate' take, making the Song seem fresher....I can't STOP going on, about this!! ...MHP, Thank YOU, for this; I thought I heard EVERY nuance this Song can give, NOW you've helped "extended" my 'pleasure' for it, all the MORE.......

This mix has pure clarity in representing this tune of 1975 this had Donna Summer's essence but not that ole rich synth. I luckily cassette taped the 17:20 version not jazzies up like this version but synth'd up back then to at least demonstrate how much better that version was. I'm not referring to the chopped up 3+ minute version because that was too short to get into the synthesizer version that was in the 17:20 minute version. I first heard the 17:20 version in 1975 as a 14 year old boy. It played over several speakers in a mall parking lot giving it a very rich listening experience that just a two speaker stereo system captures in less richness in sound. It was sort of the echoing effect that people use to hear at a drive in theater also back in those times. To hear this song echoing over four or more speakers 🤤🎧🎶

In my humble opinion, this is the very best remix of Love to Love You Baby that I have ever heard. I have a truckload of Donna's remixes and may I just say, they pale in comparison. Thank you so very much for remixing this and sharing it with us, you have a new fan, so please, keep them coming!!!

This is........................................ I Don't Know!! Fucking UNEXPECTED or something. I don't know. I'm 60. Donna Summer has been in my life for half a century; She became famous in my country first and I was there. "One take Donna". Almost, if not everything, she recorded was done in one take. They sometimes made two takes, just because...... I don't know. Probably because the producer or sound-engineer couldn't wrap his or her around the perfectness of the first take haha, or just to mix them for something strong. Man! Great mix brother. Great.
