Donna is easily my favorite Iriish singer and currently she is the voice I listen to more than anyone else, world wide! I Have about 10 Donna Taggart songs I am head over heels about and this is one of them. As an American with no Irish descent that I am aware of, I have come to love the story of the Irish and the strong bond they have as a people. I often find tears in my eyes when I hear favorite Irish songs such as "The Town Eye Love So Well" ( My initial favorite song of Donna's). Of course it needs to be a great voice that brings the tears out and Donna is without peer in that regard. It is only lately that I have begun to appreciate her voice when singing tunes of no particular persuasion such as this song. But Donna's voice eventually takes you there if you have the time to really listen. All the best! jsigur
