I do usually use sulphate free shampoos ( palmers olive oil or coconut ) but I’m reluctant to use them Incase too oily for the tape too ! I can’t have this dandruff though ..... I’ve never had it before !

I don’t have an issue washing my once a week when not wearing my tape ins but since I installed them I’ve got the most awful dandruff .... I think my scalp needs oil but I don’t want u ruin my tape !! Any suggestions ?! , I’m not washing twice a week to try and get rid of it when my hair isn’t greasy lol 😂

My hair is on the thinner side. I have been using tape in extensions, but wondering whats the difference between tape in and flat tip extensions. Flat tip seem so much easier, but wondering which is better. Sometimes I struggle with my tape ins been seen if they are placed too high.

If it’s bad to brush it while wet, am I supposed to wait until totally dry?? I only blow dry my hair if I’m in a hurry. I do my best to let it air dry. I work very hard to take the best care of this investment 😘. If you can help with my question I would greatly appreciate it.

It is not good to brush them while wet. It can cause breakage. Additionally, blow drying or any heat can cause them to be damaged. We recommend using as little heat as possible to preserve them.

I just got tape ins two weeks ago. I know dry shampoo is good but how do u actually wash the hair? Do u just was your hair on top where there's no tape in wefts? Should I get my whole hair wet? Is it ok to not put shampoo on bottom of extensions, just conditioner. And is it ok to put Argan and such oils on the bottoms often?

Nicole Lori Shampoo your hair like normal. All over your scalp and down to the ends. But conditioner and oils can only go on mid shaft to ends. Don’t put them anywhere near your scalp or roots.

Hi Nicole, we're so sorry for the late reply! Here are some tips: Try to wash your hair as infrequently as possible. Use sulfate-free shampoo on your scalp and a sulfate-free conditioner from the mid shaft to the ends. Wash your hair in one direction. Avoid washing your hair upside down. Don’t scrunch up your hair or rub it harshly to prevent tangling. After rinsing your hair, gently wring out the water so it’s not dripping wet. For extra smooth hair, add a hair mask to the midshaft down. Comb through any tangles and air dry, if possible. If you use a blow dryer, apply a heat protectant first.

My hair is thin is it possible that it became thinner from extensions? I don't have loss from the top of my head but I can see that my hair became thinner and shorter so what might be the problem?

If you have an above the average oily scalp, then we recommend our Kera-Link Extensions, as they’ll bond better to your hair. Once they’ve been installed, we recommend washing your hair every other day with a non-clarifying shampoo. Also remember that dry shampoo can be your best friend in between those wash days!

How long do tape in Extensions usually last before needing to be replaced. Traveling to my India soon to meet my mother in law and have my second Wedding Ceremony and I really am looking for a new style before I go. Do I need to be worried about them falling out like clip ins or getting faded from washing also is using amla oil on the end of my hair damaging for tape ins? I am doing research before spending money on it as I dont want to damage my hair too much.
