I have so much appreciation for the fact that you don't make videos that often, but when you do they are so cinematically pleasing and just down right fun to watch!

YOU got this Rich!!! Thank you always for your kindness, compassion and your enthusiasm for life. You have def helped me become a better person. Finding Ultra was the start for me. Been Vegan for 8 years now and its the best thing I have ever done in my life. Started running when I became Vegan but after 4 years I let running get away from me but now its back and you helped me get back on track my brother. Keep on shining, inspiring and best of luck @ Otillo ~ Namaste

"Goodmorning from Greece. Congratulations on the completion of your race! It was so inspiring for the rest of us. I watched your 'Donner Party' video by chance last night and immediately found the site for the otillo race and saw it live. It must have been so difficult! I truly hope you had a great time and got the opportunity to take in the beautiful scenery and learn new things. I would like to thank you for sharing your experience, as through you, I learnt about this ineresting race but mostly because it reminded me of all the possibilities and opportutinties, which are just there, waiting for me to be realised! I wish you the best, Lena" Hi, I wrote this to you the day after your race but I wrote on sb else's channel so you would never see it. I decided to copy paste it here because I thought that it would be a shame you not knowing that sb took the time to write you a message. PS. I am writing this while listening to your podcast on the race! Oh, my God, what an adventure! I hope your leg is not too injured. Quick recovery, all the best. Lena

Loved the video and look forward to more. We were checking in on the live feed during Otillo and feel inspired to maybe take it on with a buddy of mine from British Columbia. We are both 100 mile runners and so a swim run would definitely put us outside of our comfort zone.

Instead of carrying stuff in your hands, you should create a way to strap the stuff to your midsection (velcro? straps?). The further the weight is from your midsection (e.g. arms) the more energy it will burn right?
