Terry: I've never commented before, but I've been watching your videos for about a year. I'm not a pianist, but I play enough to fool you. What I am though, is a piano tuner/rebuilder here in the U.S. for the past 25-years. What I don't care for is the key depth. Don't know if you've ever noticed this. On most pianos, you will depress the key 3/8 of an inch. Older pianos work better at 7/16, both are a far cry from the approx. 3/4 on these electric jobs. Once you go through all the keys, I'm sure you will find at least one that is not as responsive as the others. These pianos are great for practice to a degree, but will never compare to an acoustic piano.

What a lovely sound, I am so tempted at that price. I'm a beginner, so not sure if I should spend that much (although cheap) for my first keyboard.

My first instrument that I bought was in 1996. A brand new American made Fender Stratocaster which was a serious investment at the time for $600. Now they cost $1500. Played guitar now for 25 years and the instrument has cost less than 10 cents an hour. I washed dishes for three months to buy it. Just got in to piano, and I’m back to being a beginner. I bought a Roland FP60x which seems to be a nice instrument. Point being, think of it as an investment in yourself, and don’t be afraid to save a little more and buy an instrument that you would want to keep long term. Nicer instruments hold their value better too. If you ever went to sell, you would get more back if you just didn’t play it. Especially so if you bought one used.
