Actually, it was spotted as it left China. Nothing was done about it until it finished it's mission because Joetato was told by his Chinese handlers to wait until it completed it's mission so he did. Simple as that.

Is anyone going to mention a freaking air balloon got past NORAD? This would be funny if there weren’t ICBMs aimed at us. We all need to buy Rosetta Stone for Russian if this is the level of competence of our defense forces.

The funnier part is I was tracking one of our surveillance balloons across the country staying just to the south of the course they told us this one was on. It left Georgia over the Atlantic for a bit then the tracker just lost it all of a sudden. We send them up routinely for various reasons. When they have the trackers turned on, I like following them on the map to see where they go. I’m not sure, but I think we buy ours from China anyway, so I guess all of ours are really Chinese spy balloons too. Seems as if they keeping us looking at the sky for an upcoming Sky EVENT to scare us. Hmmm…..
