I used to be so naive. Grew up in a liberal college town. Forward 20 years I was a Psychologist in Florida. I worked with men often and many had issues such as anxiety, depression or relationship troubles. Some however were absolutely insane. One day a particularly angry client told me about the gun he keeps in his car. I was shocked. This was in 2000. I had no idea people drove around with guns in their cars. I don’t know if more people have guns now in the USA or if it’s always been this way. I don’t know anyone who owns a gun. I know that I could never have a gun in my home, no interest. The gun people in USA are far more vocal about their guns. Many gun people think that we (folks who don’t want guns around) are trying to take away their guns. The right wing politicians won’t even allow any laws to pass that eliminate assault rifles or make safety rules. It all comes down to money. The gun companies give millions to Republican politicians to make sure they continue to make $$$.

TRUE Story: There were 2 like-minded drivers here in my City of Lawrence, KS (I named it, in case you think I made this story up), that got mad at each other - REALLY MAD - ROAD RAGE MAD. So, they stopped and confronted each other in the parking lot of HyVee (a grocery store) - the thing was, both of these fools had guns, and when one driver pulled his gun, the other driver did too - well, maybe not exactly that order - we don't know, but, they shot each other, AND both died! Yes, a double murder, w/ nobody left to face justice - here anyway. Moral of the Story: Even if you have a gun on you, and the will to "defend" yourself, you should not get mad at other drivers, as that's stupid, to the potential point of being fatally stupid, as they may have a gun too.
