So funny people actually argued the scam wasn't obvious Dissapeared with the crate. Didn't pick up Ramee's calls, but then was with someone else in a call form a long time while there already was a group of 6. Was SUPER hasty on the call with Ramee and didn't ask for a pick up, or give a ping, while 'hiding' from the cops. Opened the crate on his own with 0 support while in this supposed chase.

Some people genuinely have no street smarts/ ability to read people. That phone call was extremely obvious with how short he was with his story and trying to end to call as soon as possible to avoid meeting back up. Guy literally just hung up on Ramee the second he asked for a ping like that isn't a huge red flag alone. I haven't seen any other povs, but from this clip, you can tell Ramee caught on right away.

Technically he wasn't gonna scam them, he was going to go behind their back and open the crate and take the bp for himself, but still split it with them anyways. But that was during the phone call so who knows maybe his intentions changed anyways during the 2nd bike chase.

Scamming is a fraudulent or deceptive act or operation. The agreement was to split whatever was in the crate, and he even agreed to give them the blueprint. He then lied and deceived with the sole intention to take the blueprint for himself so he would only have to split the gun parts. No shade to the guy for trying to get his bag, but that is the literal definition of scamming.

From CG's POV the guy took the crate, dipped and tried to open it to get it for himself when CG was supposed to get half for protection. So yes, from their perspective the dude was trying to scam them. And he contacted harry because he wanted to do right by lang by getting them the BP, the actual thing he wanted to scam
