Donning harmony arm sleeves with medi arm butler

I only have one arm, I was wishing they could show me how to put the sleeve on so I don’t loose that arm to lymphodema .

What is an elipse? Why do you use terms unfamiliar to a layperson?

Ellipse is a flattened circle or oval. Here this instruction video is specifically for this company's arm butler and for their seamless aka round/circular knit compression sleeves. The ellipse referred to is a part of the material where pressure relief zones were created by adding fabric and adjusting the shape in areas such as the bend of the knee or elbow for patients who must stay in the same posture for a long period of time. This shape at the joints is in the shape of the ellipse. Thus the instruction video tells you where to place your ellipses. Via their website for their compression garments: "Patients who must hold their arm permanently close to the body, or who are paralysed, need pressure at the elbow to be reduced. Integrated Y-sweeps at a fixed, defined angle lengthen the stocking in an elliptical shape on the outside of the elbow. The reduced quantity of material ensures less wrinkling on the bent side."

Do you put the sleeve on the butler inside out? I just gave up and did it my way. Terrible instructions!!

At video mark 1:44 you can see that the material is inside out over the butler's arms. The material is first placed right side out in between the butler's arms. The wrist cuff must go towards the table in between the butler's arms. Then you basically fold the upper cuff over the outside of the butler's arms and slide the rest of the material down the outside of the butler's arms until you bring the lower cuff back up the middle enough to put your hand through. By deduction it must be placed inside out over the butler so that it may be right side out once you slide you arm through. Hope this helped.♡
