Worlds best Entertainer Ever!! Been a fan all my life and met him in Vegas in Feb. 2011! I shared a story with him about my autistic son who now understands the concept of a "Heavenly Father" because of his song "Whenever your in trouble". We both cried....and he said, "Angie, I'm putting that song in the show!" True to his word, 3 months later we took our son to the show and he sang that song! Brought us to tears to think this beautiful man would keep his word to someone he just met!! Love knowing I had a small part in the beauty of this great show!! Way to go brother! We love you!!

Angie, that's a beautiful testimony of how our Heavenly Father works to reach all of His children. It also shows the true integrity and faith of Donny Osmond. He is a beautiful person inside and outside. Thank you for sharing. I too have a daughter on the autism spectrum. It's a difficult journey watching them struggle to grasp things most take for granted, as well as seeing the emotional pain when other people are so mean due their ignorance and impatience of their needs.

I had heard him say before that this song was for his son and gave a story about that which was very moving. Now he says it’s for his parents so I’m very disappointed very upset and I was sober until this moment because this really bothers me. Now I don’t know what to believe. I have been listening to the Osmonds every day and There’s songs have been in my head every day lately for the past month at least and now I hear this and it’s very touching also but it really hurts me now

He mentioned that he wrote the song for his missionary son at a church concert. This is a group of people from all faiths, so maybe they wouldn't understand the missionary part so he made it about his parents for a more universal audience. No matter, it is still a great song.
