Donny Pelletier's Mogul Showdown

Maine's finest athlete came by to host the Donny Pelletier Mogul Showdown to dish out some Moxie and show who's the best skier on the mountain. After that, he went to find some grub at the Great Tailgate and hand out the top honors.

In the early 70's Jim Sysko , Burt Mills and I turned on the Barker snowmaking for the first time..When we drained the pipes the pressure was so great that the water went in a straight horizontal column and did not even hit the pond at the bottom but drilled a hole under the lift. When Burt and I turned on the snowmaking compressors for the first time we knocked the lights out all the way to Rumford. I was paid a nickel more an hour ($3.35) because I had gone to Colorado Mountain College for a "Ski Area Management Degree" I was in the first classes ever offered. As the saying goes. Why work for more when you can work for Les.
