As a Scot I was amazed at the crowd in Edinburgh yesterday for a friendly game on a weekday afternoon 😱, especially as I didn't see any Lyon fans. A pal who works in the Murrayfield ticket office said if the game was on a weekend they could have filled the ground 3 times over. Thanks to both clubs for coming to Edinburgh and there was a really friendly atmosphere in the city afterwards too. Haste ye back 👍🍻🍻

@@seanburley8522 He's too average for any top flight team. But he has some elements in his game that make him very usefull for any squad. Depth, he's often in the box, has decent ability on the ball, off the ball - position wise- incredible. if he's fit.. He could be a sub? Or play against lesser teams where we seek to crowd the box. Maybe take off a load from bruno/eriksen during the season.

People forget (or don’t even know) Donny had a horrible injury that takes a long time to come back fully from. All the ligaments in his knee snapped and his leg went the wrong way. He’s had really bad luck with injuries, not getting game time and having managers that don’t know how to use him or play a style of football that suits him. As long as he wants to stay I think he can be a very important player for us and almost like a new signing. He’s a great footballer when he has confidence and he is utilised correctly and I trust Ten Hag to do that. Come on Donny! We all want to see you do well. You can see how much that goal in just a friendly match meant to him after what he’s been through.
