I didn't think Cosmic Wheels could be done as an acoustic piece. This was interesting to watch. Love Donovan and love Cosmic Wheels. This is a neat clip. Thanks for uploading it for us to enjoy!

One of the problems is that though a superior singer, songwriter and player, Donovan's songs cry out for the lush arrangements and backing like on his records. Unfortunately, (except for his early Live album - which is only a slice of a full concert performance in LA) in concert he went it alone and it really hurt him. I saw him in Boston circa 1971/72 and he at least had flute and violin back-up, but it severely limited the songs he could play, and they paled in comparison to the album versions.
