Everyone always wanna asterisk everything, like Cavs didn't have a single healthy wing in the first matchup that the Celtics won by 3 at home, like the Celtics didn't play hospital teams on their way to the finals last year. It's not just an asterisk, it's in bold. In the first game of the season with the Celtics, the Cavs were mostly missing bench players, while the Celtics were missing an extremely important starter, but won. The Cavs are mostly at full strength, outside of Strus, and the 10 points he maybe would have scored (at most). This game, the Celtics (by all rights) shouldn't have even been in the game, being without Jaylen Brown and Derrick White. The fact that the Celtics lost by only 4 points doesn't bode well for the potential from the Cavs' current roster construction. I just can't see them making it out of the Eastern Conference this season.
