Some of these during the 23W-2L streak. Too bad a lot of people didn't know to watch Donovan play until the Playoffs, because he was the most exciting rookie to watch for me since you never know where he's going to take the shot; Spreads the defense a lot since they have to play him out to 30 feet.

Hopefully with the Jazz. Michael Jordan finished Utah in two game 6 Finals and rings mean so much to people that it keeps John Stockton and Karl Malone out of some top player lists, even for their positions. Ring or not though, if he stays healthy then he'll be an attraction for NBA fans for many years to come.
@Player_Review6 жыл бұрын
IamBabyGroot - MJ is the reason that the Jazz lost their two Finals appearances. It has nothing to do with Donovan's future, other than Donovan won't have that same obstacle the Jazz had back in the 90's.

@Player_Review6 жыл бұрын
People complain about his efficiency, but his eFG was 54.1% and Simmons only took shots under the basket and ended up with an eFG of 54.5%, so they actually had almost identical efficiency, just that Donovan spreads the defense and can hit from as far as 30 feet compared to Simmons' 0-3 feet. I'd take the extra points and pulling the defense out of the middle rather than less points and putting more defensive stress on your teammates.

This dude is the whole package. As his jumper improves, he will only get better. He has perfect footwork (even transition footwork... which is hard to do), perfect pump-fake instincts, and AUTOMATIC handles... all he needs is a little consistency in his shot. If he can get a consistent jumper, a consistent fadeaway, a consistent stepback, and a consistent stop-and-pop, this dude will soon be one of the top 10 players in the league.

Appreciate the videos as always. Mitchell is indeed special & if he starts shooting at least 40% from 3 along with improved playmaking, he becomes an mvp candidate.
@Player_Review6 жыл бұрын
Absolutely, and with an eFG of 54.1% he ends up being fairly efficient, but he has noted that he wants to work on everything including his efficiency. He makes a 30-foot planted shot look like it is in his range, so no reason we don't see his 3-point efficiency go up next season, especially if he gets more 'catch and shoot' opportunities.

He got more of the MVP Rose's layup package and athleticism other than Westbrook's. He got more of the Chris Paul's footwork other than Kyrie's. (Remember, CP3 trained him) He's 6'3. Dwade is 6'4. But I can tell, he had some Dwade in him with a 3pt shooting and playmaking. Hope he work his way into the PG Position (because of his height).
