He was already a newborn. Ellen White writes that the new birth is a slow process in which God works on the heart. When Donovan pleaded with God on the street, only the effects of conversion became visible. It was the same for me. I was baptized in 2022, but it wasn't until months later that I was really suddenly filled with the Holy Spirit. I was already converted, but that was just the water baptism. We have to recommit our lives to Jesus every day anyway. I still struggle with sins and weaknesses, but Jesus sanctifies me and teaches me to exercise faith. Without sanctification, no one will see the Lord. We must completely die to our own ego and become more and more like Jesus. But this happens through faith alone. This song tells my story !! When my dad died in a horrible car wreck It crushed me I took a downward spiral !! Trust and believe God had his hand on me even through walking through complete Hell !! I look back on some of that journey And all i can say is Im a miracle and God spared my life because i should be dead !! Let me tell you i cried out to my lord said you love me so much why am i at the pigs trough like the prodigal son ? Because it starts out with a whisper from the devil and if you open the tiniest crack he will take you to the very depths of hell !! Abuse that is undescribable and taken advantage of when you are in those places you look up real fast cry out to Almighty God because trust me no one but him can save you from yourself or the hell you opened doors to !! Thank the Lord for your edifying testimony, Donovan. If God could lead you to a place of peace and forgiveness, then surely I will be encouraged to keep looking up in faith that I, too, may find the strength and willingness to surrender my life absolutely so Jesus can create the new birth in me. Please pray for me. Maybe it’s silly but my little dog died two months ago and I’m still so sad, and I miss her so much.!My husband gave her to me right before he died nine years ago. She was a living tie to him and now that she’s gone I feel so alone, even though I have friends and family. Please please pray for me. Thank you. ❤ I used to love being in my kitchen, cooking for myself and my two dogs. Now that they are gone I don’t even like to be in my kitchen. Every step, every dish reminds me of my husband and my dogs.

yes....the Old self has to die in order for your new soul to be reborn. and it hurts to let the old self die and the old self will resist its own death! so it feels like a life and death struggle to be reborn! It IS a type of spiritual warfare afterall...your soul must be wrangled away from Satan and given to Jesus

# 2 PART comment & questions: Donovan, you Don't come right out and say that you are a Seventh Day Adventist, but I understand that you are a Sabbath Keeper (7th Day - Saturday). I was raised a Seventh Day Adventist ever since I was 2 years old. I'm now in the early part of Senior citizenship years. I am no longer a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church, & haven't attended one for many years. However, ALL of the GOOD things about GOD and Worship and Healthful Living was formed in me from an early age. There are a couple, perhaps a few Doctrinal issues that I don't agree with in the Adventist church, & although Ellen G. White had good things to contribute; I don't accept her as a Prophet in the Biblical sense. I enjoy your videos and just listened to the amazing testimony of Donovan. He spoke against the eternal 'Hell Fire" Judgement of GOD, as clearly stated in the Holy and preserved Scriptures. # OKAY ....Whether you understand, believe, or accept eternal Hell Fire Judgement as spoken of in the Holy Bible is NOT Required for GOD'S SAVING GRACE & the SALVATION of your SOUL. We are mere human beings and we ARE CALLED to Fully SURRENDER and SUBMIT to HIS LORDSHIP; to Humble ourselves before our CREATOR GOD ..WHO IS Eternal, and SOVEREIGN LORD OF ALL Creation. . . . to Confess our Sins and REPENT (Turn Away from our Sins) and to put our Faith & Trust in the ROCK of our SALVATION ..CHRIST JESUS. As the Apostle Paul so clearly said ...."I die daily" ...to Self. What you understand and believe about What Happens to the Soul/Spirit of a human being after they take their Last Breath (DEATH) IS NOT an Issue of SALVATION. You can offer your ideas and thoughts; but qualify them by saying that this is your own personal understanding about it. Keep Following CHRIST JESUS and Sharing the GOSPEL.
