One of my favorite videos you have made. Another thing I wanted to add is that there’s also no need to pick apart minute details amongst notable tabla players when it comes to technical dexterity. While it’s important to understand what they’re doing and why you may prefer one over the other for your hand, Living in that world of minutia distracts from the entire point of musical expression.

Hey Texas Tabla! I would like to start off by saying that I absolutely love your videos, style and content. Super unique. The second thing is if you could possibly make a video about practicing, structure, consistency etc thanks very much 🙏

I love your videos they are very insightful. I was wondering what is your opinion on interleaved practice? I know it is totally different than the traditional way of doing riyaaz that we were all taught. But I found this way of riyaz to be beneficial. It really keeps your brain engaged, and I’ve been noticing an improvement in my hand.

@@TexasTabla kzbin.infoDjvx0x0HoS8?si=KX4uYufPPHasyO18 This is the basic explanation. Many studies have been conducted on this method. And the results showed that having to recall the peace over and over again makes it stick better in your long-term memory.

You absolutely must meet Vivek Pandey, a remarkable tabla player and a disciple of Pt. Anindo Chatterjee. His mastery of the tabla is unparalleled and he currently resides in the US. And also you are the best!!! keep it up buddy... good luck

Maybe that's why I see no more creative tihayees, less of a creative thinking approach while accompanying ... what I see are the fastest tirekites, ultra high speed dhatigene bols around. There's nothing wrong with it either. Achieving that level of speed takes years of practice and incredible talent. But what excites me the most is simplicity , clarity in sound and creativity in mind. Something that Ustad ji excels at .. In my mind , One of my most favourite performances is this - kzbin.info/www/bejne/rpK3i4GPYpp2pKs ; where speed takes a back seat and you can see what it really takes to be a master of an Instrument. Also , it's one of the best yaman's I heard. Do give it a watch.
