Here in Cali, the cop would be looking for carb numbers "for modified parts" in the engine bay, no carb numbers equals automatic impound and state reff 😂 Plus, they would pull you over even if you have plates and current tags, for something simple like window tint, loud exhaust, or no front license plate. Then that gives them probable cause to search. CHP now has classes, they are bringing in modified cars to teach officers what to look for. Tyrants!! 😂

I’ve had more LS powered vehicles the last several years than Ford powered vehicles, and I don’t like the mod motor/coyote family of engines at all. Still not a big fan of GM powered Fords. I agree with the Ford people need pushrod power though. Build something Godzilla powered on the channel. Variety of engines would be cool to see

I’m pretty sure if anybody takes a Chevy powered Ford to a Ford car show or a Ford powered Chevy to a Chevy car show they are mostly trying to piss people off. I think that’s the reason it’s unpopular there. If you genuinely like mustangs and wanted to go to a mustang car show, you wouldn’t take a Chevy powered mustang to the show. And of the course the same could be said for a ford powered Chevy at a Chevy car show. I like the LS and really anything fast of any brand, but the whole “LS swap the world” crowd does make me want to put a Ford engine in a Camaro or C10 and take it to every LS Fest and Gm car show I can find.
