@@awilson4718 the hair is some old clip ins I had lying around, that I don’t wear. I really don’t remember where they are from :( but you can search for human hair blow out type 4 clip-ins online. And it should come up.

what about doing the majority on a crochet cap - or a weaving cap if the human hair is on wefts and do a u part and just try to do your best on the parting two cornrows. There are vids on YT on this method. I am considering it myself as someone not great at neat cornrows. Honestly this style in this video the lady did looks better IMO then all the best laid lace installs I see to be honest.

I did my hair for my birthday and did not braid my hair, I pulled it back into a ponytail. I did of course used gots2b and some gel. Let it dry crotchet the hair in, and it lasted for 3 weeks I only took it out because it was my first time I feel like I added far too much hair it was a real super curly hair, so it was big, but it was super cute. I would have left it in if the hair I used was better quality. I also did my ten years old hair as well, and it is still looking good, and she is a wild child who does not care how rough she is with her hair. It worked without braids. When I got ready to take it out, I simply took my pony out and the hair just slides out like magic.

Damn girl! Where do you live the bookie part of NYC or Cali or something?! 😳😂🙅🏽♀️ No really in all honesty my daughter and I were just discussing this yesterday. She’s almost 11 and I’ve been trying to ensure I allow her to immerse herself into anything that could become a marketable skill because life is too wild right now, one source of income just won’t do and I say that as a travel nurse because not only can she be more fiscally responsible by learning how to do things like this she can save a ton of money by learning how to style/braid her own hair. Anyway, didn’t mean for this to be so long lol…I just wanted to say I agree with you wholeheartedly even though I live in the supposed “black hair capital” of the world (Detroit) I’ve still NEVER seen a single specialized class be higher than my BSN credits in college. 😳 So very grateful to all those who dedicate their time and are willing to share their knowledge with anyone who may need to access it. Simple things like a hair tutorial can change a young woman’s or teens life, I can be the difference between a single mom that’s doing her best having to decide which utility can or can’t be paid this month because she needs her car repaired or else she won’t be able to make it to work. I say that as a woman that’s been in that situation so I’m speaking first hand when I say it’s such a blessing when we are openly willing toshare our wisdom with each other. Here in Detroit the crab in a bucket mentality is STRONG and it breaks my heart because there is room for ALL of us and teaching people by reaching out on social media. Most importantly it helps our community build solidarity and generational wealth so shout out to you sis! 💕✨💖

I remember doing stuff like this when I was in Middle School because at the time my mother couldn't buy me as much hair for as many times I did my hair. Lol, so I used to cut my hair off my tracks and do micro braids. And I also started doing crochets from my old natural tracks also as well. And the only thing that's new to me on this video is the baby hairs so that would be something that I wouldn't do because I look forward to using my real baby hairs because I can do a lot with my own. But overall it was a great video and I still learn and got a lot from it
