It's not cute. Chameleons stress easily from handling, and most prefer to be left alone. When a chameleon grabs at a water stream, its because it believes it can climb it. The chameleon is trying to get away.

@@mike814031 They're instinctively timid and cautious, because they are slow moving reptiles that are eaten by predators. They rely heavily on remaining hidden from food and foe for survival. I've been keeping and researching chameleons for the past decade, and they're certainly not "like most creatures". Stress can weaken immune function and suppress appetite. Videos like this encourage new and aspiring keepers to mishandle chameleons like toys or companion animals.

This is so bad do not do this it can lead to stress they can die but there very sensitive. I recommend trying to put them closer to objects like leafs or other stuff, but not like this they’re like fish do you like to explore very happy alone but when they’re petted or sometimes aggressive or don’t wanna be petted.
