for assault formation quest rosetta is also a good options if u dont wanna use narmaya and wanna afk, u can just place 2 roses at the enemies spawn and the 3rd rose at the slime location then just lets your roses + your 3 A.I do their job killing everything while u afk

I’d like to share a couple thoughts. 1. Farming for sigils via specific quests is not necessary. It’s far more efficient to grind Revenge of the Hordes and then exchange the excess materials for Knickknack vouchers and get 5+ sigils via the Kinckknack voucher exchange/Transmarvel feature. A tip on this: use the “lock” feature in the menus to lock any sigils and wrightstones you want, then simply re-exchange the rest for Knickknack vouchers. Once you get the hang of it, you can fly through the process and quickly obtain a ton of 5+ sigils (and powerful Wrightstones). The only downside here is that it’s a LOT of inventory management/being in the menus rather than actually “playing” the game. This method allowed me to obtain all the 5+ sigils I needed while continuing to amass Large Fortitude Crystals (I hate that you need so many to max out a weapon). One more tip: Yodhara (my main) is amazing at clearing Revenge of the Hordes quickly because Goblins are weak to Wind. If you don’t have War Elemental, like me, that is 😢 2. You did not touch on Mastery Point farming, but I believe the best method for this is to AFK farm the hardest possible Furycane and Magnagarmr quests for Wind and Water shards, then turn these in at the repeatable quest Presentproof Trading in Folca. This grants 700 MSP for 5 of each shard. If you AFK farm each quest the full 10x, I think you should have enough MSP to max out any character from scratch. Tip: you can refresh quests by opening/closing Lyria’s Journal in the menu, allowing you to just stand there and turn in shards for MSP over and over. I’d love to know your thoughts on these methods!

No all these are great. I just wanted to to give a excel guide. I didn't put mastery farming in because I never did it. every quest worth farming gives you 500-100. I think my frame of reference is skewed cause i played too much. If your goal is to get all the terminus weapons to 150 and have a useable build your just going to get enough MSP. So i never even farmed for MSP and everyout is maxed out with mediocre over masteries. I have 250 hours in with very little AFK farming. Im going to start now though because someone made a Rackam AFK farming Macro that loads you in slimepede walks to the spawn point and just shoots. I get like 150 a run.

@@ryechew ahh I see…yeah I have about 60 hours in and will probably fully max only about 4 characters. That’s a good point that the optimal farming method depends on how you approach the game/how much time you plan to spend overall.

@@DietersYT Thats true. 4 characters will need 4080 shards. Which assuming youll need to get 3000 thats 100 runs of revenge of hoards which will net you 50K MSP. youll need about 100 a tale of bahamuts rage if you arent unlucky. wich is 100k MSP and getting to bahamut should give about another 100k so I would say even you dont need to farm MSP. leveling the sigils are going to be your issue and i think youll be done with the game around 250 hours. But they will releaase more content by then.

That’s very useful info that I did not have. Thanks so much for sharing. Yeah, sigil leveling is brutal. Honestly, I have a lot of fun doing the quick quests Online, so I’ve gotten a couple Azurite Splendors via Gold Dalia Badges…so that may be the way I mostly upgrade sigils. I am not in a hurry :) Honestly just having damage uncapped, which I do, is a huge hurdle to get over. Getting them maxed is nice to free-up more sigil slots for extra utility, but I still am able to brute-force my way through all the current content as-is.

@DietersYT yeah it's faster to level sigils but only if you don't afk farm. I should do an AFK add on I think. The slime pede drop rates seem to change on a whim. Maybe it's just increased rates on a weekend or something

I think one thing to think about with the harder quests is to factor in your clear time. That mag/galanza quest can take a lot longer than farming the lower one a lot faster. Not saying it's a bad idea, but sometimes clear speed plays into factoring things, also some things being able to afk farm is a big plus. Otherwise, very useful tips

Thats fair. I think this really matters for solo players especially. my clear times with friend is around 3 to 4 minutes with that fight. But solo even with AI is like 10

@@ryechew Ahh, I didn't realize it was so much faster with another person. I've been playing completely and the first clear I got of it took nearly 20-25 mins, where I can do the solo fights in 2-3 mins at most.

@@Flupperz Yeah this is a fair point. The game doesnt scale health from players so solo or with four people is the same. Which really highlights how crazy 6 minute speed runs of maglielle and gallanza are.

not sure if you didn't mention it or i missed it but Io is a great farmer even at later stages (or pretty much every content in the game besides slimes) because of her stun, insane burst potential and a fairly quick SBA gauge charge which pretty much lets you 1 cycle most bosses with a good team

I have forgotten about Ferry's Stun attack. However the cooldown in hers is still not low enough to be able to say to replace one of the four for me. This is important for things like the triple Dile quest

4:57 Ferry does as well and it hits like a fucking TRUCK. 80% of the time, 1 hit with it = Link Attack. Depends on lots of things but still. I’ll take Ferry over MC any day.

Damage cap V+ comes from Blazing trial. Had it drop pretty consistently and it's way quicker than final boss. Also you can afk

Yes I didn't have it drop consistently but the rate was pretty low for me. I got two but i have done that quest over 100 times. ive gotten about 20 from proto Bahamut though all the dragons are good.

Any tips for farming MSP? I am working my way through Proud quests atm but havent seemed to find anything that is more efficent than grinding the Slimepede mission Feel like I may be missing something Been really enjoying your Granblue Relink content!

Thanks!!! Slimepede is best honestly. Revenge of the hoards is going to give you the most fortitude shards but also 600ish MSP so if you only want MSP slimepede is best. but that 4 minutes. The blazing trial is probably the fasstes best all around because of the sigils

I think line 8 of the spreadsheet is incorrect, exceptional refinium is not a guaranteed drop for this quest. EDIT, the guaranteed drop column seems a good bit off to be honest.

i use rosetta on assault, cant remember exactly how many kills she gets but is very similar to rackam with auto cilcker, so if on consoles and hand tired/want afk/no macro just set roses and wait

Is it just me or is like a huge portion of the sigil/weapon “skills” utterly pointless thanks to having DMG Cap sigils? Like Weakpoint DMG / Exploiter… does it even do anything? Or is Exploiter a toss away sigil unless it is V+ and had an amazing sub trait? Overdrive Assassin is O.K. If you already have your DMG cap at 65+, your crit at 100, and your Supp DMG at 45/45… Yes, I know it is lame to be meta, however when the game has DPS checks and playing something different can result in failure for you or you and 3 others… Honestly aside from the hilariously poorly tested Mechanics resulting in overtly BROKEN tech for almost every character… the DMG cap being a trait is just a massive poorly designed thing. I could come up with better less Metaslave creating systems in 5 minutes is asked. Also, hate to say it but I have always found the concept of Critical hits being able to be 100% to be not just stupid but lacking in any sort of comprehension of why, where and when Critical hits came about. Sad how a thing invented almost 50 years ago with a 5% chance has become some lame must have mechanic for all games and most allow it to go to 100% completely ignoring what it even is. Can’t wait for someone to create a new Critical… maybe a Giga critical or Dire Critical or Massive critical that has a 1% chance and decades later every PnP, Video Game or Miniatures game will have it but now it can go to 100% 😂

You arent wrong. Like usually you wont need more than two damage sigls to hit cap. Then crit then. Its liike after you know what you are doing you dont need sigils. every build is just the same. Damage cap/dmg/personal sigil/doge/potion hoarder. this is every builld honestly. Except the meme builds like Io's glitched stargaze SBA if you know about it.

@@ryechewoh, I know about it. I just really really dislike Two things : Using obvious glitches which to me is just cheating. And children characters especially ones with Io’s voice 😂 I know she is S T R O N G and would boost my farming, but I just am nit a fan if her going back to the Anime. Love your content by the way. Shame you never did MH: Rise Sunbreak content, I held off on MH: Rise as I heard all the bogus complaints about it. So glad I finally got it as it makes MH: W look like what it is : Babies first Monster Hunter. I loved World, but as a MH Vet, it was far too dumbed down for casuals. MH: Rise seems like that too, until you realize that there is 5 times as many mechanics compared to World. I skipped Iceborne as I hear they took one step forward ( less easy wyverns ) and two steps back ( The grapple claw? Not sure on name, and something else I forget now ) Sadly Sunbreak did the same thing, added the single best Dragon fight in the game period, and added an asinine amount of broken OP armor skills and added the worst most boring and tedious grind in the series by far. Makes Deco farming look like a quaint side task in comparison.
