For some reason there isn't as much interviews about backend as I wish. This one was pretty cool.

Discovered your channel 3 days ago or so. And watched like 5 podcasts already. Great to listen to the developers, invalueable info!

The interviewee looks like he has the laser focus of a backend developer.

Solid interview. This video was really helpful. I particularly liked the phrase "it's an open book job". Big thanks to you both.

I loved this interview, thank you! The more I study coding, the more I lean toward back-end. He explained it in simple and straightforward terms, I really appreciate that!

Same, im doing a fall stack bootcamp soon but im gonna lean to back end immediately after

First of all, thanks for the video! Second, my sense of humour is broken beyond repair - I couldn't help but imagine crude innuendos implied while you were just calmly talking about the back-end and enjoying it in the first minute. 😅

I learn Python and after some time I started to think about what to do next, which path to choose. I don't like to be front end, I have been in customer service for many years and after two kids I just want peace. I think about backend, maybe security but this channel helps me to understand some things. Thank you

on frontend you are not seeing customers. When they mean frontend not meant front desk of company, it is UI of app .

Guys, the first step to becoming any developer is not html & css, its learning the basic concepts like you know the abc 😉 no matter how long it takes. 2-3 months is perfect, no bootcamp before that.

I keep hearing about the basic concepts that should be learned first, but what are they? Where do i get to learn them?
@DezzarTac Жыл бұрын
@@alexandrf2428 I'm not a mind-reader, but I'll guess he's referring to UML or psuedocode flowcharts. Basic pre-code planning and easy to find online as they are both first-step methods.

Hey there, Don. I’m 20 years old, and I also want to become a backend developer. I’m currently learning Python, and want to use it for backend development. My issue is that I see a lot of people using JS. Would it be a bad idea to switch to JS? I have some knowledge about Python and how it works, and have prior experience with it.

There are some jobs (and companies) where backend could be fun, but I htink its so boring. Money is great but its boring.
@me-lx8ei2 жыл бұрын
why does the backend developer look so dead.. kinda makes you think how what you do for a living shapes who you become (no disrespect to the guy)
@saimalinadeem60242 жыл бұрын
Back-end is boring, Back-end is dead. You wont be getting these comments from a back end-dev its cuz they actually do it and the real back-end logic is absolutely not boring but it is challenging so people like to say its boring just to give them an excuse to not touch it. Simple

I’m about to start a backend job. Bit scared that it will be boring

is it easy to learn coding?
@DonTheDeveloper3 жыл бұрын
No, but with time and dedication, it's achievable.
