The reason why the atomic breath looks like "water" in the OG films was because it was basically more like a "gas breath" or a stream of vapor rather than being fire, so only later on did it resemble more like an energy beam.

The Godzilla anime where Filius and Earth came from are a movie trilogy. First movie is Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters, second movie is Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle, third movie is Godzilla: The Planet Eater. Godzilla Heisei (1991 - 1995) is just the same design used in all the movies from 1991 to 1995. Since you’re interested in watching some of the series, the Godzilla after Godzilla (1998) is from a cartoon series taking place after the 1998 movie. There’s also Godzilla Singular Point(the Godzilla with circle atomic breath), a Netflix anime series, which Godzilla has multiple forms like Shin Godzilla. You’re gonna have to work your brain a bit for this series as it’s very scientific.

Godzilla Heisei (1991-1995) is not a show, it's just the phase of his movies where the design went through the least amount of changes. Godzilla and Mothra: The Battle for Earth, Godzilla vs King Ghidorah, Godzilla vs SpaceGodzilla, and Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla 2 all feature this design. If any changes are made, they are VERY minor.

There are two Godzilla anime things on Netflix. The first one is an anime movie trilogy. In order are Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters, Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle, and Godzilla: The Planet Eater. This series took Godzilla into a direction which I really enjoyed so it’ll be a cool watch. The other one is an anime series (about 13 episodes) Godzilla: Singular Point. It is similar to Shin Godzilla in some aspects but it is definitely a ride if you intend to watch it.

You should watch wikizilla videos to understand everything about the Kaiju genre. 4:24 this movie is a direct sequel to the original Gojira 1954 movie. Everything after that movie is non canon. 14:20, starting from left to right: that's mechagodzilla 2002, also known as kiryu, that's spacegodzilla from the 1994 movie, one of godzilla's most powerful enemies, then that's king ghidorah, specifically from the 2019 short film (I think? I don't remember where it's from) shin ghidorah, then that's gigan 2004, or known as final wars gigan, he's also known as a space chicken. And that bug thing you thought was mothra is megaguirus from the 2000 movie. I hope this helped!
