It's so interesting cuz everyone played a part in the destruction. Mylo with his trash talking motivated Powder to prove herself useful, Vi with her words telling Powder how she's ready and everything only to end up taking that back, and Powder with her want to be helpful as a young, frail girl

Vi, like the others, is just a traumatised child, who should not carry such responsibilities, so the harmful dynamic of the children against Powder could be blamed a lot on Vander

The final of the episode 3 + the "Good Bye" music at the end are one of the best things I saw in a Show that AMAZING !!! I will always remember the first night when I saw that, it rain like in the scene, magic ! And the final song is so depressive, cool and nostalgic for me !!!

We don’t like to think about it, because action movies give us a warped idea of how explosions work, but this is the most realistic outcome of a 9 year old kid using a homemade experimental explosive. If we saw a news headline that said, “Child Uses Homemade Bomb to Defend Family from Gangsters”, the article would probably have the same story as this episode.

I imagine Powders intention was to kill the monster guy trying to break in because she started to set it up and panic when the fight turned and Vi couldnt fight back against it anymore, she just way overdid the explosives and i guess underestimated how strong the thing was. It was just a mess from the start cause she was left alone too and she obviously has abandonment issues, I remember seeing someone say if she was given a little job or made to go find Ekko or something it would have been better for her, but who knows. They were all just kids who didnt know better and shouldnt have been in that situation to begin with.

The thing about Powder is she had no clue about Vander being freed by Mylo and Claggor breaking through the wall. She didn't even really know they where in that room too. She just saw the monster grab Vi by the neck and throw her, and Vi then barricading herself in that room. With the monster then proceeding to beat on the door trying to knock it down when she decided to use the monkey. Its all just decisions made in high stress times.

The irony is that Powder actually saved Vi. If not for the explosion, all of them would not have been able to jump from a great height, otherwise they would have broken their legs at least. A monster without an explosion would very soon break down the door and catch up with them to kill them. The monster is not afraid of height.

Jayce specializes in acceleration magic, that's what they did in the lab, it's shown by that cogwheel going through the center and shooting out on the other side Something a lot of people miss is that, Vi didn't leave Powder, she needed space to not hurt her again, she already let emotions get the better of her (valid she just went through hell and back to learn that her sister took part in it) and wanted to have a second for herself, to cry and then come back to Powder. We all saw she was going to but Marcus drugged her

thank you for being one of the few people who understand vi’s perspective 😭 she’s a teen and her sister just got her entire family killed of course she’s not gonna immediately react pedagogically correct. it’s insane that she even had the conscience in that moment to reflect and realize she was lashing out at powder, so she removed herself from the situation to calm down. it’s not like she was gonna leave her fr. but so many reactors start yelling at vi at that scene and it makes me wanna rip my hair out every time. was it wise to go that far away while silco was still around? of course not, can you expect her to act rationally in this situation? also no.

Vi did EXACTLY what you should do in this situation. If you can't control yourself, being able to recognise IN THE MOMENT that you're lashing out and can't stop yourself, walking away to collect yourself and calm down is the mature and responsible thing to do. Especially after something so traumatic, them both being in shock it's extremely impressive she had that clarity. If Marcus hadn't stopped her she was still close enough to get back to Powder and protect her. It just didn't turn out that way, sadly. But that's not Vi's fault.

@@SaiyanSerenityV optimal outcome would’ve been taking powder to safety first, because even if marcus wasn’t there silco could’ve easily killed powder in the time it would’ve taken vi to get there. but even if she had stayed, she wouldn’t have been able to protect powder in this state of mind, so distancing herself was the best thing she could do in this moment. considering all circumstances, you couldn’t have expected anything more of her, and you definitely cannot blame her for anything.

32:30 to answer your question no powder really didn't mess anything up. She actually did save them. Yes clagger opened the wall but let's not forget they were on the 2nd floor as shown when powder went flying after the explosion and likely survived by dropping into the water below. Yes vi closed the door 🚪 but as I'm sure you notice the hulk reject was steadily breaking through that door even if the explosion element wasn't I'm sorry but they wouldn't have gotten away even with the distraction given by a bombless monkey. They may have potentially made it out but would not have survived because recall how quickly the hulk reject took out benzo oh boy is fast do honestly believe he would not catch up when they have to figure out a safe means of 4 ppl getting down from the second floor? Even though the explosion caused so much damage let's talk about how the hulk reject was still up and move as of nothing had happened. And to the ones claiming in this episode that powder killed 3 ppl 😒 I ask where was this 3rd person? Yes she is responsible for the deaths of clagger and asshole 🙄 but she did not kill vander. Vander died protecting the very person who came to save him. Also that moment with the doll head no that wasn't vi realizing that powder was behind the explosion. That was vi remembering and seeing first hand what Vander was telling her on the bridge and in the last drop that she blatantly ignored. She didn't know about powder it'll she walks out in excitement because her bomb worked for the first time. Ngl vi made me mad 😠 when she put all blame on powder because hate to brake it to ppl none of them would have been there had vi not gone after Vander in the first place.

If its anyones fault, its actually Vis. If she didnt take them all on an unsanctioned missions, something she was absolutely not supposed to do, literally none of this wouldve ever happened. No explosion, no cop chase, no street brawl, no intel for Silco to use, no searches in the under city, no Vander having to take the fall, no Silco intercepting him, no jailbreak, no Powder bomb, no one dead. Vi did something she wasnt supposed to do. Everything that follows is a direct consequence of her action.

Honestly I can’t blame powder at all. From a child’s point of view all she saw as a big scary monster trying to hurt her sibling. Her first idea isn’t gonna be to sit there she’s gonna want to help. Vi never listened to Vander so powder thought it was ok to disobey directions without and problems. To make it worse after she felt like she contributed she was yelled at and physically harmed. This of course confused her and caused her to do what any confused child would do here and cry. And then cling to the closest thing she has left.

I get that Powder's actions were the catalyst for the crew dying but ultimately remember that this whole thing is really Silco's fault. He's the adult here, he's the one who killed the enforcer killed Benzo and killed Vander, and we don't know how things would have gone for the kids once they got him out! It's just as likely that they would have died fighting their way out. Like there are plenty of things you can lay at Powder's feet, but for me - maybe because I've accidentally set things in motion that led to harm like this... it comes across differently, more tragic - but for me this isn't one of them.
