Love your work Tom. You were lucky in the 80s, a time that was still relatively simplistic. Ironically your fame came from a film that drew the audience to an even more simplistic time "50s" where many of us wish we could travel in order to enjoy the peacefulness of that simplicity. In a evermore changing, more complex world, things get lost in the complexity of our society. This creates a disconnect of human nature called fellowship with others. KZbin gives public figures like yourself the tool to build relationships with their fans. I think it is good to reach out and share your experiences and emotions with people who wish the could experience the same.

@@TomWilson Oh stop that! You know, Im learning a lot from your videos - you're humor, the way you're so outgoing and display ease with everything you do...your videos lift me. I just wish you'd show more of your paintings! Btw, my secret to painting is: paint like Shrek...at his most carefree - with clumsy, fat brush strokes using colors that dont always make sense but me make happy. Eventually the broad strokes and weird colors turn into something viable or so I like to believe anyway.

I've been watching your videos for some time and I'm seeing you as the "Sopranos" of KZbin personalities. Not that you're changing the way people watch videos, but that you're the regular shmoe of Hollywood show biz. Prior to the Sopranos all the movies featured the big guys and the bosses. For that reason, you're life as an anti-Brad Pitt is fascinating. Its nice to see the trappings of fame and wealth will never affect you...or ever come close to you.
